Designing Integrated Resorts in Singapore - 3
Design 3 is somewhat more complicated but draws its inspiration from the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. The tall building structure supports several protruding floors. Each floor is separated from the one below by empty space - space that can be used for gardens, pools, food and beverage outlets, etc. "Invisible" supports hold the floor up.
Designing Integrated Resorts in Singapore - 1
We are all waiting, in anticipation, for the so-called iconic designs for our Singapore casinos, from those who are bidding to build these. Let's pray that the designs will really make us all sit up and go "wow'.While we wait, I have decided to contribute my share of some possible designs for these resorts. Design No 1 above shows a low rectangular structure, cut somewhere along its length, by a gigantic sphere. The sphere, several storeys high, is totaly glass-encased could house the casino complex or the shopping complex. It glows and radiates light at night.
